The 1975 sure know how to mess with naming conventions. Here’s a sentence for you: The band have released a new single titled “UGH!” from their upcoming record, I Like it When You Sleep For You Are So Beautiful Yet So Unaware Of It.
If previous single “Love Me” was a bit too Peter Gabriel for your tastes, make sure to give this track a fair shake. Featuring an infectious hook, some heavy electronic work, and a highly syncopated beat, vocalist Matt Healy pushes his delivery in strange new directions while singing about his relationship with cocaine. It’s unlike anything the band has done before, but magically, it fits right in with the rest of their impressive discography.
