The first trailer for the highly anticipated X-Men film, X-Men: Apocalypse, is here.

The film focuses on the incredibly powerful mutant, Apocalypse, who is said to be the first ever mutant, and immortal.

In the trailer we get our first look at the younger generation of the mutants we all know and love from the original trilogy. The new generation will star Game Of Thrones alum Sophie Turner as Jean Grey, Tye Sheridan as Cyclops, and Alexandra Shipp as Storm. The trailer also shows the return of Rose Byrne’s Moira MacTaggert.

We see Oscar Isaac’s menacing Apocalypse, who is seemingly controlling mutants to symbolize the four horsemen of the apocalypse, with Olivia Munn’s Psylocke, Michael Fassbender’s Mageneto, Alexandra Shipp’s Storm and Ben Hardy’s Archangel as the supposed horsemen.
