A$AP Ferg is set to release a new record in 2016, and the first single “Tatted Angel” made its way onto Soundcloud last week. Overnight, Ferg released a five minute cut of the new track, which features an additional verse. Check out the “full version” of “Tatted Angel” below.

The Hood Pope is clearly taking a slightly new direction with the upcoming record, if “Tatted Angel” is any indication. A lush production job is the clear highlight, but the addition of Ferg’s singing is certainly something worth noting. The track ends with a touching tribute to A$AP Yams, the late founder of A$AP Mob who passed away in 2014. “Oh god, I wish I wasn’t famous,” sings Ferg. “Maybe Yams would be here still, with me.”
