The Starting Line Announce ‘Anyways’ EP; Their First New Material in Eight Years

The Starting Line was formed in Churchville, Pennsylvania some time in 1999. The band would later release a few full-length records (two within the golden era of Drive-Thru Records), a few EPs and live documentary.

In March of 2008 the band announced their indefinite hiatus. This was followed by a number of sporadic tour dates, including a 10-year celebratory tour for their debut album, Say It Like You Mean It. At the annual holiday show they played in December of 2014, frontman Kenny Vasoli hinted at TSL potentially releasing new material in 2015.

This week, The Starting Line officially announced the upcoming release of their EP, entitled Anyways. The new EP—their first new material since 2007—was produced by Will Yip (The Wonder Years, Circa Survive, Title Fight, etc.) and is slated for a February 5 release.

Vasoli shares, “Hello, friends. Tom, Mike, Brian, Matt and I are very pleased to let you in on TSL’s new tracks. Our first studio recording in eight years! It’s been a long time coming. We hope you enjoy.”

A brand new single will be available this coming Thursday, December 17. You can pre-order Anyways here. All pre-orders before Thursday will be autographed and will receive an automatic download of the first single.

You can check out the EP’s artwork below. Feel free to comment and tell us how excited you are. We’re pretty excited, too.
