Weezer Stream New Single, Announce New Album and a Tour With Panic! At The Disco

After sharing two new singles late in 2015 with no true confirmation of a new album, fans certainly suspected that Weezer had something in the works—speculation strengthened this week when the band wiped their website and social media accounts to nothing but white, also sharing a blank-white teaser with white noise audio. See the theme here?

The Los Angeles rockers have announced their newest self-titled album, The White Album, which is slated for release on April 1—a legitimate Friday, so probably not an April Fools joke…hopefully. Along with the news comes a brand new single and accompanying video as well as the announcement of a massive summer tour with Panic! At The Disco, where Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness will support on most dates. What a package, right? Heh.

All dates for the upcoming tour, which kicks off on June 10 in The Woodlands, TX, can be found below where you can also watch the band’s black-and-white, SCANTRON-directed video for “King Of The World,” the third single to surface from the new album, following “Thank God For Girls” and “Do You Wanna Get High?” Pre-sale for the summer tour starts on Tuesday, January 19 at 10am local time. You can sign up for the mailing list before January 18 in order to get the pre-sale code. General on-sale tickets will become available on Friday, January 22 at 10am local time.

The White Album is already available for pre-order through Weezer’s website in a variety of bundles and formats.
