UTG PREMIERE: Maple Hill – “Space To Grow”

Maple Hill 1

If you dig huge hooks, relatable lyrics and infectious instrumentation, then you definitely need more Maple Hill in your life. Since joining forces in the summer of 2014, the Ithaca outfit have perfected a contagious brand of pop-punk that is every bit as refreshing as it is familiar, bringing to mind genre forerunners like New Found Glory, Yellowcard and Hit The Lights.

This morning, we’re stoked to bring you the world premiere of the foursome’s latest single, “Space To Grow,” a high-energy track taken from the band’s impending full-length debut, Headspace. Check it out below.

“’Space To Grow’ is a song of self-reflection,” drummer St. John Faulkner told UTG. “Following the theme of the album, it’s all about finding a new perspective. The song speaks towards looking inwards, and accepting that a change needs to happen. Pronouncing personal frustrations can be extremely cathartic, and releasing those frustrations into a song can be even more so.”

Headspace arrives on February 5. Pre-orders are ongoing.
