Brian Fallon Releases “Smoke” From Upcoming Solo LP

The Gaslight Anthem frontman Brian Fallon is gearing up to release his debut solo LP, Painkillers, on March 11, and has just released the third single. Following previous singles “A Wonderful Life” and “Nobody Wins,” “Smoke” follows a more traditional folk sound, previously unexplored to this extent by Fallon.

Originally written for Fallon’s side project, Molly & The Zombies, the new version of “Smoke” features higher quality production value (courtesy of Butch Walker, who engineered all of Painkillers) and some nice instrumental flair.
