FADES rock in motion in new video for “Breaking Through The Walls”

London rock five-piece FADES have recently shared a Josh Harms-directed video for “Breaking Through The Walls,” their debut single, which also serves as the opener to their first release—a six-track, self-titled EP.

With the band’s name derived from a Queens Of The Stone Age song, that influence is also found in their sound. Heavy, rhythmic indie rock with strong lead vocals and aggressive guitars should appeal to fans of QOTSA and probably any of Josh Homme’s various other projects as well. The video accompaniment for the band’s debut single finds FADES rocking out in their van as they drive through the London on their way to a street gig. You can check it out below and keep your eyes on the band’s website as they prepare to release the FADES EP on March 11.

On March 10, FADES will be joined by Odd Rival and Rumours for a free EP release show that will take place at the Proud Camden night club in London. All details for the event can be found here. Make sure to RSVP if you’re in the area.
