Between a scalding Spaceghostpurrp diss and a slapper of a single in “Flying Nimbus,” Denzel Curry has been in top form ahead of his most hyped release to date: Imperial. As expected, the Florida native continues the trend of anticipatory joints with a fresh offering in “Knotty Head.”

Featuring production whose airy synths complement its foundation of ultra-tough percussion, Curry spits his mind out over the track’s three-minute runtime with pointedness: “Call me knotty head, I don’t give a fuck.”
