Batman (voiced by Will Arnett) decided today to grace us with a teaser for The LEGO Batman Movie. After having watched it at least 20 times, we couldn’t be more excited.

Building off of the warm heart and perfectly goofy humor of 2014’s The LEGO Movie, the new teaser is a complete delight. Instead of giving us plot—there’s almost no story detail to be found—the teaser instead focuses on expanding upon the Batman we have all come to love. He’s the coolest, the baddest, the darkest, and of course the head of the Justice League (if you believe him, that is). Set to Wiz Khalifa’s “Black And Yellow,” we get to see Batman fight crime, lead the Justice League into battle, and reheat some lobster Thermidor. You can see the full teaser after the jump.

As a lifelong fan of both Batman and LEGO, this teaser makes me want to start camping out now for the movie’s release. I’m slightly sad that there was no hint of Zach Galifianakis’ Joker, but the teaser absolutely nails the charm that made The LEGO Movie a hit and LEGO Batman a star. Hopefully we get to hear Batman sing another musical masterpiece on the level of “Untitled Self Portrait.”

The LEGO Batman Movie stars Will Arnett, Rosario Dawson, Ralph Fiennes, Michael Cera, Zach Galifianakis, and Mariah Carey. The movie will be released sometime in 2017.
