Aesop Rock wants you to get inside his head, and damn it, he does it with ease in his new music video for “Blood Sandwich.”

The Rob Shaw-directed visuals are set inside a barn where the rapper watches old footage of his brothers on a projector and reflects on his relationships with them. It provides a contrast with the videos he’s been posting through Funny or Die where he engages in several therapy sessions with Dr. Izzo, an animated bear, as he speaks on promoting his upcoming seventh album, The Impossible Kid, out on April 29 through Rhymesayers. Pre-orders are ongoing.
