Ramsey’s self-produced dark-pop is irresistible

Los Angeles trip-hop/pop artist Ramsey is on a tremendous rise; one we regret to have not been aware of until just recently.

Ramsey’s current collection of tracks on Soundcloud contains some of the best material we’ve heard this year. It’s moody, visceral, expertly crafted, and unforgettably affecting. With several of the tracks nearing 200k plays or more, we’re clearly catching on late, so if you’re in the same boat as us, now’s your chance to dig in before Ramsey’s all but taking over.

Likely to appeal to fans of everyone from The Weeknd, to Glass Animals, MØ, and Portishead, Ramsey writes and produces her own material, and the end result of each track released thus far is impressive to say the least. You can listen through the 10-track collection below. Let us know what you think.

The details of these songs in regards to an album are vague, but you can keep up with Ramsey’s progress through her website.

No one can f**k with Ramsey, not even close. She’s just too damn good, she’s a legend already, soon the world will know.
