UTG PREMIERE: Wanderer – ‘Gloom Daze’

wanderer

Today, we have the pleasure of bringing you the vicious, throat-ripping Gloom Daze from Minneapolis five-piece Wanderer. Clocking in at around 20 minutes across seven tracks, the band’s newest effort is ripe with metal-laced hardcore and underlying punk influences. It leaves little room for breathers during its brief runtime but offers plenty of chaos for the pit. You can listen through its entirety below.

Speaking to UTG about their release, the band says:

“‘Gloom Daze’ is the culmination of the musical and lyrical contributions of all of the members after many months of intense writing and multiple tours around the US. We have completely changed as a band since our last release, and this record showcases that to the fullest. Working with Adam Tucker at Signaturetone Recording was an amazing experience. He did a tremendous job with the production and we couldn’t be happier to be putting this out on CD and tape through Tilde Records. Expect to see us around the Midwest and East Coast this summer!”

Gloom Daze is set to release through Tilde Records on May 22. Digital and physical pre-orders are available now.
