Glass Animals release “Life Itself” single ahead of second studio album

Glass Animals—who we interviewed back when their debut album Zaba came out in 2014—are back at it again. The British four-piece released the official audio for new single “Life Itself,” and it’s guaranteed to get you up on your feet. In addition, the band also announced in an Instagram post that their new album, How To Be a Human Being, is done and is coming later this Summer.

“Life Itself” is an amazingly danceable, synth-filled banger. We’ve included the video below, and even though it’s only the “official audio” version, the ever-changing background patterns in the video are pretty fun to watch. Lyrically, “‘Life Itself’ is one of those… It’s about a guy who was born a bit strange and struggles to become part of society,” says lead singer Dave Bayley in a press release.

What do you think of the new single? Let us know in the comments below.
