UTG PREMIERE: One Gone Thus – ‘Impermanence’ EP

one gone thus premiere

Los Angeles experimental/post-hardcore duo One Gone Thus have teamed with UTG to stream their new, five-track EP, Impermanence, which will officially release this Friday, June 3. Pre-orders are available on Bandcamp for just $1 and come with a bonus track, titled “Some People Never Change.”

“We went about constructing the whole album with the idea of making melodic and catchy songs with an experimental bent,” says guitarist/vocalist Ryan Sabouhi. “We chose to incorporate a wide variety of unique progressions, tones, and instrumentation all in the hope that we might build a more multidimensional soundscape.” Speaking on the actual themes of the effort, Sabouhi continues, “All of us are caught between the ever changing worldly winds of pleasure and pain, praise and blame, fame and disrepute, gain and loss. We wanted this EP to be a way for us to artistically investigate these deep and abstruse matters.”

Stream Impermanence below and let us know what you think.
