REVIEW: Lions!Tigers!Bears! – Shallow Waters, Endless Depth

“ndeed, this is a difficult album to critique in one sense – it’s a touch different, it’s well executed and it sounds really good. Yet, in another sense, it feels horribly like one prolonged chunk of riffage that doesn’t always let the flair in between shine. However, this could all be a moot point, as it’s an entertaining listen and much better than your average noise crew offering.”

REVIEW: Carly Rae Jepsen – ‘E•MO•TION’

Artist: Carly Rae Jepsen Album: E•MO•TION Genre: Pop We live in a very saturated world. One filled with the over-commercialization of art, trends, clothing, technology, everything. When something takes off, it soars to a point far beyond want, desire, or demand, but, within this generalization of “needing” too much, there is a romanticism buried beneath […]

Less than a week before Valentine’s Day in 2012, my girlfriend and I found out that we were going to be having a baby. A couple days later we went to San Francisco to see Anthony Green and The Dear Hunter which marked our daughter’s first concert (technically). She was just a tiny little near-formless […]
