G-Unit Want You to Watch When They “Come Up”

50 Cent and G-Unit have clearly gone nowhere. The crew have had a good summer, playing OVO Fest, releasing a few tracks here and there, and announcing a new album in November, 2014 is looking like the year for G-Unit.

Well, now they’ve released a video for their new track, “Come Up,” and it’s obvious they’re still living the party lifestyle. The video is packed with booze, babes and cars, and they don’t appear to be slowing down. Check out the video below, and let us know what you think.

G-Unit Remix “Move That Dope”

No hits are safe from G-Unit. After releasing a string of remixes and verses to keep fans on their toes, 50 Cent and crew continued to deliver new music this afternoon with a premiere of their take on Future’s “Move That Dope.”

You know how this story goes by now, or at least you should. 50 Cent and G-Unit have a new album to promote, and to do so they have been systematically taking every big urban hit from recent months and making it their own. I think we have run at least one new track from them each …

50 Cent Confirms New G-Unit Album Releasing In November

…And the news just keeping coming.

Just over twelve hours after making headlines with G-Unit’s take on Drake’s “0 To 100,” ringleader 50 Cent has confirmed that his recently reunited group will be releasing a new album in late November. The news broke during an interview with Fox 29 in Philadelphia, which you can view at the end of this post.

50 Cent has been making headlines essentially every day since he delivered one of the funniest opening pitches in MLB history back in May. His new solo album, Animal Ambition, hit stores yesterday and his next …

G-Unit Make “0 To 100” Their Own

Just days after surprising the world with their reunion at Hot 97’s Summer Jam concert, G-Unit have become the first group in rap to hop on Drake’s “0 To 100” and make it their own.

“Real Quick” borrows what I would call the ‘title bars’ from Drake’s latest viral hit for a five minute reintroduction to one of the mid-2000s greatest collectives. It’s got solid verses across the board, and its structure is one I am sure many emcees will borrow in the months ahead. You can stream and download the track, for free, below:

50 Cent Reunites G-Unit At Summer Jam, Debuts “Cuffin Season” Remix

Hot 97’s annual Summer Jam concert took place in New York City last night, and as expected there were a few surprises along the way. Most notably, at least as far as we are concerned, came from none other than 50 Cent.

Taking the stage well into the evening’s events, 50 Cent shocked fans by reuniting the recently broken up G-Unit (sans Game). The crowd went wild, so much so that the appearance of Fabolous caused a fight to break out, but things eventually calmed down enough for the group to perform a few tracks against a wall of screaming …

Rest In Peace: G-Unit (2002-2014)

It’s the end of an era for one of modern hip-hop’s most popular rap collectives.

Speaking in a new interview with Power99’s Cosmic Kev at the end of last week, rapper and Vitamin Water investor 50 Cent broke the news that G-Unit has been ‘dismantled.’ He claims despite the numerous rumors that have popped up over the years there are absolutely no plans for a reunion at this time, and even if the possibility presented itself he has no desire to ever enter a new contract with either Lloyd Banks or Tony Yayo.

This is not exactly game …

MOVIE REVIEW: ‘Last Vegas’

Film: Last Vegas
Starring: Michael Douglas, Robert De Niro
Directed by: Jon Turteltaub

Walking into a movie like Last Vegas you usually have a preconceived notion of what you’re about to see. In this case, you’ve probably seen the posters or trailer(s) and realized the plot is similar to The Hangover, only this time the leads are all eligible for AARP cards. That is true, to an extent, but once you get past the predictability of the plot there is a lot more to love than initially meets the eye.
