Frank Ocean, Diplo, And Members Of The Clash Collaborate On New Song

Well, this was certainly unexpected.

Frank Ocean, Diplo, and members of the Clash (Mick Jones and Paul Simonon) are the latest pairing of talent to be thrust together through Converse’s popular three artists one song campaign. On Monday, a new track titled “Hero” will hit the net, which was created by this collaboration sometime in recent months.

Speaking about the recording process, Diplo offered:

ANCIIENTS Featured in New Installment of Converse X Decibel

Canadian progressive metal outfit, ANCIIENTS, have released one of the best albums of the year and we’re pleased to see them get any and all much-deserved press. Heart Of Oak, which dropped in April and happens to have one of this year’s best album covers as well, should definitely be on your radar if you’re into any heavy prog-metal bands like Mastodon, Red Fang, and Baroness.

Just a few days after dropping the audio, Gorillaz have partnered with Converse once more to unveil the official music video for “Do Ya Thing.”

If you somehow missed the premiere of “Do Ya Thing,” you have been missing out. Not only are the Gorillaz back in full force, but they brought along Outkast’s Andre 3000 and James Murphy for the ride. The Gorillaz have done it yet again with a new single entitled “DoYaThing” that has been quite the buzz on indie blogs for the past few weeks. The song is a Converse 3 artists. One Song. collaboration between The Gorillaz, James Murphy and Andre 3000.
