Watch Sky Ferreira Get Tough in “I Blame Myself” Music Video

Sky Ferreira has released the music video for Night Time, My Time song “I Blame Myself” and it’s got all the ’90s street cred, fresh-out-of-prison stuff you could want. Styled by Ian Bradley and produced by SSENSE and System Magazine, the music video is the first of a series intended to connect fashion film and music videos.

Supposedly the video is based on real events (“It’s obviously based off of real events,” Ferreira said. “People always ask me questions about certain things, and it’s kind of like my response. I think actions speak louder than words.”), which certainly seems to …

New York Radio DJ Claims Kanye West’s New Album Is Complete

There has been talk of new material from Kanye West for months, but as of this morning it seems all but confirmed that a new album is on the way (much) sooner than later.

New York City radio personality Peter Rosenberg sits at the center of this story, as it is his on-air discussion of West’s latest efforts that sent bloggers into a fury earlier today. According to Rosenberg, West is not only planning a new album, he’s already recorded it. In fact, Rosenberg claims he has heard the record and that it is “dark.” You can listen to an …

MOVIE REVIEW: Hansel And Gretel: Witch Hunters

Film: Hansel And Gretel: Witch Hunters
Director: Tommy Wirkola
Writer: Tommy Wirkola, D.W. Harper

Dark fairy tale reboots seem to be the new craze for movies. With the success of films like Red Riding Hood and Snow White And The Huntsman it is no surprise that Hansel And Gretel: Witch Hunters was made. Turning these children’s stories into gritty adult stories has proven to be financially sound despite all these films being met with poor reviews. Hansel And Gretel: Witch Hunters is no different.

If you agree, this column is for you.

It seems that rebooting classic children’s stories …

MUSIC VIDEO: Katy Perry – The One That Got Away

With all the hype Katy Perry has been giving her new music video, “The One That Got Away,” you can expect a huge debut; I can’t doubt that at all.

The music video portrays Katy as a young adult with her love and as an older woman, pondering her past. This is one of Katy’s darkest videos with a lot of emotion. The song comes off her latest release, Teenage Dream.

Check out the video after the jump to see a different side of Katy Perry.
