Haim Win The Internet With Their Video For “My Song 5”

Is there anything better than daytime talk shows? Pizza is great, sure, and a beautiful sunset always gives you warm fuzzies in all the right ways, but can either of those things hold a candle to watching the oddest of humanity’s odd balls air their dirty laundry on national television from the comfort of your bed/couch? I didn’t think so.

Many years have passed since I have admittedly had enough free time to properly enjoy this type of programming, but thanks to the ladies of Haim and their new video for “My Song 5” people like me can revisit that …

Reactions Stream Cover Of Ke$ha’s “Thinking Of You”

Earlier this week I was thinking that it had been a moment since we had a good, ridiculous cover to feature on the site. Then, as if the heavens above (or devil below) heard my cries, the following track found its way to our inbox.

After teasing the release of a new cover if the group hit certain numbers on a Facebook post, Reactions have released a cover of Ke$ha’s revenge-loving track, “Thinking Of You.” The song details the songstress’ reflection on a lover from the days before she was as famous as she is now, and the angst added …

Ke$ha Releases “Crazy Kids” Single Featuring

Ke$ha has been relatively quiet on the news front in recent weeks. Her songs have stayed in steady rotation at radio, so one could argue further headlines were unnecessary, but it’s still odd that in an age where everyone is connected all the time that someone as generally outrageous as Ke$ha can slip below celebrity radar for any amount of time.

Anyway, today Ke$ha returns to the spotlight with the release of her official “Crazy Kids” remix featuring The track, which was released as a radio edit early this morning, features new verses and a slightly reworked production. As …

CONFIRMED: The Flaming Lips And Ke$ha Working On Collaborative Album ‘Lip$ha’

I believe we may have a winner for the strangest news item of the week.

During a recent Reddit AMA, frontman Wayne Coyne informed fans that The Flaming Lips are currently working on a collaborative album with pop superstar Ke$ha entitled, Lip$ha. The pairing may seem odd to some, but Ke$ha previously worked with the Lips on “Heady Fwend.” You can read an excerpt from the AMA mentioning the release, as well as the answer to whether or not glitter can be found in Ke$ha’s blood, below:

What was it like working with Ke$ha?

MGMT Flesh Out Details Surrounding Their Third Album

Electro indie folk-a-weirdos MGMT, the duo consisting of Andrew VanWyngarden and Ben Goldwasser, sat down with Rolling Stone to dish on their upcoming third album.

With a tentative schedule release for sometime this June, the group decided to go back to their roots, ensuring the interviewer that tracks on their third LP will be in line with the catchy, freak funk jams like “Electric Feel” and “Time To Pretend” found on their first album Oracular Spectacular.

Just kidding! After a heapingly divisive slice of weird like Congratulations, do you really think VanWyngarden and Goldwasser are interested in …

Ke$ha’s “Die Young” Tumbles Down The Charts Following Newtown Massacre

The aftermath of a national tragedy knows no bounds, especially as far as pop culture is concerned. Multiple television programs were cancelled or delayed, and now it seems the pop charts have been shaken up as a result as well. “Die Young,” the seemingly inescapable single from Ke$ha, has been pulled from numerous stations across the country following the massacre in Newtown, CT last week. According to mediabase, the song was at #3 nationwide on Friday, reaching roughly 167 million listeners. By Saturday, airplay dropped by 3 million listeners, and as of yesterday the total reach had slid all the …

REVIEW: Kesha – Warrior

Artist: Kesha
Album: Warrior
Genre: Pop, electro-pop
Label: Kemosabe, RCA

Kesha’s Warrior is the work of a chameleon. It’s quite staggering to think that even this relatively late release merits inclusion in the ranks of best pop albums of the year, especially given it comes from an artist who seemed barely capable of one obnoxious gimmick years ago. It seems Kesha was either playing down her ability on her previous releases or chose to save it all for the all-important sophomore effort, because Warrior is quite fantastic. It’s almost impossible to dislike because it barely has a coherent form. …

STREAM: Ke$ha – “C’mon”

I know we already posted a new Ke$ha song this morning, but another has found its way online and it’d be rude of us not to share.

We have no idea how “C’mon” found its way to the blogosphere, but Idolator pointed it out to us and now we’re bringing the sugar pop to you. The track harkens back to the glam pop megastar’s earlier works, so think back to any song she released prior to 2012 and you’ll have a relatively strong idea of what you’re about to hear. “C’mon” can be streamed after the jump.

There is probably …

STREAM/DOWNLOAD: Ke$ha Ft Juicy J, Wiz Khalifa & Becky G – “Die Young” (Remix)

Holy shit. I have no idea why I never expected to see a hip hop remix of this track, but I am thankful for whatever label exec pulled the trigger on this one.

Ke$ha is hoping you’ll make the most of your weekend with the release of her official remix for the hit, “Die Young.” The newly released track features guest appearances from Juicy J, Wiz Khalifa, and up and comer Becky G swapping verses about living life to the fullest. You can stream, download, and enjoy the remix after the jump.

Say what you will, but we all know …

MUSIC VIDEO: Ke$ha – “Die Young”

She’s back, and yes, there is plenty of glitter to go around.

Ke$ha, often referred to by many of our staffers as the one hit wonder who got carried away, has released the video for her latest single, “Die Young.” The clip (shockingly?) features the girl who wakes up feeling like P. Diddy and a few leather-clad friends performing cult-like dance rituals in a Spanish church while superimposed shapes and glitter slide in and out of frame. It may sound like Ke$ha 101, but I have to admit it feels a bit more boring than her previous clips. You can …

Ke$ha Claims to Have Had Sex With A Ghost

Just when you think Casper is the friendliest ghost you know, the same pop singer that claims to have broken into Prince’s house informs us that she had sexual relations with a supernatural entity, and now we just have to sit back and pray that Oren Peli was lurking around with the idea that Paranormal Activity 5 will be the first “found footage” celebrity sex tape.

In a recent interview with entrepreneur Ryan Seacrest, Ke$ha gives some insight to the many influences that have affected the writing for her forthcoming album, Warrior. These influences include, but are not limited …

STREAM: Ke$ha – Die Young

Ke$ha is aiming to return to the top of Billboard this Fall with her new single, “Die Young.” The track was co-written with Nate Reuss of fun., as well as three additional writers, and one listen to the hook will be all you need to hear the influence. Ke$ha treats the verse with a bit more sass than the track warrants, but I think it’s inevitable that this song will soon become the top40 single no one can escape. Click past the jump and stream “Die Young” for yourself.

Ke$ha will release her latest album this Winter. Stay tuned …
