According to Rolling Stone, Fun., The Black Keys and Mumford & Sons along with Taylor Swift and Rihanna are among the first artists selected to perform at the 55th annual Grammy Awards on February 10.

Fun. and Mumford & Sons will be putting their albums, Some Nights and Babel respectively, up against The Black Keys’ El Camino for Album of the Year.

Mumford & Sons On Pace to Have Biggest Sales Week of Year

Indie group Mumford & Sons is set to have the biggest sales week of the year in the US according to Billboard. Their latest work, Babel, is set to move 600,000 copies, which would be the highest sales in a week since classic rockers AC/DC’s album Black Ice came out in 2008.

To put that in perspective, that’s 253,000 more copies than Justin Bieber’s album Believer managed for first week sales.

Mumford & Sons Announce UK/Ireland Tour

Folk rockers Mumford & Sons recently announced a huge fall tour in the UK/Ireland and UTG has all of the details. This tour run kicks off in Torquay on November 21 and ends up at Dublin’s O2 arena on December 16. Please be sure to grab your tickets on Friday (September 28).

The group will be supporting their new release, Babel, that was produced by Arcade Fire/Coldplay collaborator Markus Dravs.

Mumford & Sons have released the first single from their highly anticipated new album, Babel.

Entitled “I Will Wait,” the latest from this folksy four piece offer more of the same, with plenty of harmonies and whimsy to go around. The track pretty much defines “safe bet” in terms of album promotion and will likely not change your opinion on the band in any way, shape, or form. What better way to celebrate hump day than with new melancholy folk music from one of 2011’s biggest breakout groups?
