Former Veil Of Maya frontman Reveals Why He Left The Band

Several days have passed since we brought you the news that longtime Veil Of Maya frontman Brandon Butler would be stepping down from his position in the band, and today we gained a little more insight as to why he chose to leave.

Writing to fans in a new open letter, Brandon Butler partnered with our friends at Lambgoat to express his reasoning for walking away from the group he fronted for the better part of the last decade. He wrote:

Earlier today Suicide Silence confirmed rumors by officially announcing that Eddie Hermida of All Shall Perish will be the new vocalist of their band. Shortly after, All Shall Perish made a statement of their own, indicating that Eddie will no longer be a part of their band. Suicide Silence Confirm They Have A New Vocalist, Release Teaser Instead Of A Name

The metal world has been buzzing today with rumors that Suicide Silence have decided to replace fallen frontman Mitch Lucker and continue on with their career. Now, just hours after Lambgoat kickstarted new member rumors, fans have some answers.

UTG can now confirm the members of Suicide Silence have indeed replaced Lucker, but at this point in time the group have yet to reveal their new frontman’s name. Close Your Eyes Add New Vocalist to Team, European Tour and New Album on the Way

Texas-based hardcore band Close Your Eyes announced their new vocalist today, and his name is Sam Robinson. Sam will be picking up where the band left off, and we’re really excited to see how he does in his new position.

Close Your Eyes also announced a new record, Line in the Sand, which will come out this Fall, tentatively in October, on Victory Records. The band plans to be hitting the road this September for a European tour, and you can see those dates after the break.

The Contortionist Announce New Vocalist

It was a sad day for TC fans when it was announced that Jonathan Carpenter would be leaving the band earlier this year. His mix of vocals helped define their sound and it was hard to imagine anyone taking his place, but today, The Contortionist have announced that they have indeed found a replacement in Last Chance To Reason vocalist, Mike Lessard. We have to say, if there was anyone who could do it, Mike is the man. He has a similar range of highs and lows and has already filled in for Jonathan on tour.

Secrets Announce New Vocalist Aaron Melzer Of Author & Finisher

Secrets have officially announced the new vocalist for the band. His name is Aaron Melzer, and he was previously in the band Author & Finisher. BREAKING: Vocalist Lacey Sturm Leaves Flyleaf; Band Plans To Continue On

Hard rock act Flyleaf have announced plans to part ways with vocalist Lacey Sturm in the near future. Sturm, who has been with the band for the last decade, has issued a statement of her own to explain the reasons for her departure.
