Michigan’s loudest rock festival is expanding to be a two-day event this year, and the initial lineup gives us a lot to be excited about.

Dirt Fest 2015 will take place in Birch Run, Michigan on August 7 and 8 of this year. It will be the first time the long-running festival has been a multi-day event, and the initial lineup leads us to believe it will be a pretty chaotic weekend. Down and Coal Chamber are the main headliners, with big acts like Pop Evil, Eyes Set To Kill, Upon A Burning Body, and Periphery appearing …

Under The Gun’s Head of Photography, Corbin Alvae, stopped at Saint Andrews Hall in Detroit to catch ‘The Juggernaut Tour.’

First show of the year and it feels great to be back! Did some great things throughout January that I was pretty proud of, so I’m glad to get back into the live photo grind again. From First To Last Sign With Sumerian Records

The recently reunited From First To Last, now featuring Periphery vocalist Spencer Sotelo, have announced that they have joined the Sumerian Records roster and will be releasing their new album under the label.

While I admire the label’s ability to pick up a band as big as From First To last, this is a confusing move to me. The band successfully funded their new record via Kickstarter late last year and have already released a new single, “Dead Trees.” Considering the album is done and paid for, why make the move to a label as big as …

Spencer Sotelo: From First To Last “In No Way Affects My Commitment And Position In Periphery”

Earlier this week, it was announced that Periphery frontman Spencer Sotelo would be joining From First To Last on their upcoming, Kickstarter-funded release. While this is exciting news for both camps, it prompted concerns from Periphery fans about the state of the band and Sotelo’s future plans. Sotelo addressed these concerns in a statement, which you can read below.

There has been a lot of speculation regarding the recent announcement of my involvement with From First To Last. I would like to make it clear that I wanted to join them in creating an EP for fun. I met the
