Defeater Sign to Epitaph Records, Announce Spring Headlining Tour

Boston hardcore giants Defeater have officially signed to Epitaph Records, and will be releasing a new album through the label later this year. Read a statement from the band by following the jump below.

Additionally, the five-piece has also revealed plans for an epic nationwide tour alongside Counterparts, Capsize, Better Off, and Hotel Books. The month-long run will kick off on March 27 in Albany, New York, and visit over 25 prominent venues before concluding on April 28 in Buffalo. Additional details can also be found below.

The Classic Crime Sign To BC Music, Announce Anniversary Record

Seattle based rock outfit The Classic Crime have revealed they are now a member of BC Music, better known as a branch of Emery’s BadChristian Records. In celebration of the newly founded partnership, The Classic Crime will be releasing What Was Done, Vol. 1: A Decade Revisited, a compilation containing acoustic renditions of fan-favorites alongside rearranged tracks as well.

What Was Done, Vol. 1: A Decade Revisited is set to hit stores October 27, but physical pre-orders are available here. As for the album’s confirmed artwork and tracklisting, both can be found after the jump.

The LA-based post hardcore outfit known as Set To Stun recently announced some very exciting news to their fans. The group that has now been together for about five years have taken the next major step in their career by joining the alternative label Tragic Hero Records. The label is home to a number of popular bands including Letlive, Erra, Alesana and more. They haven’t officially confirmed if there will be a new album out soon or not, but it seems likely there will be new music in the near future.

Four Letter Lie Sign To Artery Recordings, Announce New EP Slated For August Release

Yesterday, Four Letter Lie announced that they have officially signed to Artery Recordings, and will be releasing their newest EP, Like Structures, through the label on August 5. You can check out the band’s official announcement, which features a new song titled “Inversion,” after the break.

“We really are just so excited about this record and couldn’t be happier to be teaming up with The Artery Foundation again,” said vocalist Brian Nagan.

Like Structures will act as a follow-up to 2009’s A New Day, which was produced by Matt Goldman and released through Victory Records.

North Carolinian emo trio Sinai Vessel have officially signed to Flannel Gurl Records and now share a label home with a range of fantastic artists including Dads, The Caution Children, and CityCop. To celebrate the signing, Flannel Gurl will be re-releasing the band’s most recent effort, Profanity, on 500 copies of limited edition vinyl.
