February 27th, 2011 James Shotwell Slayer‘s frontman, Tom Araya, was recently hospitalized, forcing the band to cancel their appearance at the Soundwave Festival in Australia. However, an update on Slayerized reported: “According to “Soundwave Festival” promoter AJ Maddah Tom “will be OK” for the next “Soundwave” show in Melbourne on Friday, March 4th.”
