A far cry from Carter’s heavier leanings, Leave Your Love hit shelves this past January through Rise Records, and has become a fast favorite amongst the UTG staff. If you have yet to get acquainted, you can stream the entire EP here.
Artist: Tyler Carter
Album: Leave Your Love EP
Label: Rise Records
The Internet has been demanding a Tyler Carter solo album since 2010, if not longer. Several songs surfaced in 2011, including the popular “Side To Side,” but no release ever came together. Demand returned following the rise of Carter’s latest project, Issues, and now we’re kicking off 2015 with a new collection of solo tracks that prove Carter could easily have an entirely different career in music.
Issues have been giving it 110% since their inception in 2012. They’ve released two EPs, a full-length and they toured all over the country. Even though they don’t have any tours scheduled until March, that doesn’t mean they aren’t still working. The group has confirmed that on Jan. 23 they will start pre-production for their sophomore full-length.
In addition to a new album, the band has let fans know that, for the time being, Scout will not be touring with them. Scout is not quitting, but he is planning on focusing on solo music for a while. As you will …

“Georgia” is still my personal favorite single so far, but what Carter has shown us so far has been solid. Leave Your Love is likely going to be a great EP. If you like what you’ve heard so far you can pre-order the EP on iTunes or MerchNow.

I do enjoy this song, but I have to say that I like “Georgia” quite a bit more. This is still a stellar song nonetheless, and I can’t wait to hear the rest of the EP. Leave Your Love is going to be released Jan. 13 via Rise Records. The EP is available to …
It’s well established by now that Tyler Carter is a talented musician. He has fronted multiple bands by now, and provides guest vocals on at least a dozen singles. Chances are, fans will enjoy just about anything he releases, and for good reason.
A couple of days ago Carter announced that he will be releasing his first solo EP, titled Leave Your Love. This album has been a long time coming, and we can’t wait to finally have it in our hands. To hold us over, the musician has revealed a music video for the lead single, which is …
Although having previously mentioned news of this EP in 2012, Carter has finally found the right time to release his work on his own. The EP was produced by his bandmate/mixer Ty “Scout” Acord.

Album: Punk Goes Pop Vol. 6
Label: Fearless Records
Two years have passed since Fearless Records shared Punk Goes Pop Vol. 5, and in that time the world of top 40 music has undergone quite a transformation. There is less music created by actual instruments at radio today than ever before, replaced at a startling rate by EDM headliners and star-studded collaborative efforts that revolve around mindless hooks backed by thumping bass. Transforming these tracks into well-executed covers performed by artists using guitars is no easy task, but Fearless found thirteen artists up to the …

You can find that link here, or watch the video below the jump.
