RIhanna flees the stage after fire breaks out

It was a scary scene for Rihanna last night in Dallas, Texas for the pop star, who fled the stage after a rather large rafter fire broke out. A fan took footage of the event, from a distance, and can be viewed by looking below. Thankfully no one was hurt on the LOUD Tour and […]

REVIEW: MINUSHUMAN – Bloodthrone

“Unless you have some weird bias against francophones, there’s little to nothing to complain about with this album outside of just how multi-dimensional it feels. There’s something seriously wrong with the metal world if this album doesn’t get a lot of attention both from critics and fans when it drops in August as it has such universal metal appeal. Something about these Frenchmen, they just know how to do metal right.”

Bowling For Soup & The Dollyrots to release 7″ split

Bowling For Soup and The Dollyrots are set to release a 7″ split, in which each band will be covering the others songs. Interesting take on a split in my opinion. The release will be limited to 1000 copies, signed by both bands. A digital version, featuring two bonus tracks, will also be made available.

REVIEW: Alkaline Trio – Damnesia

“What Damnesia teaches us is once you strip away the noise from Alk Trio, all that is left is some of the most heart-wrenching odes to life, love, friendship, and loss that has been written and/or recorded in the last half century. The chemistry between Matt Skiba, Dan Andriano, and Derek Grant has never been more palpable and I sincerely doubt anyone’s ability to say otherwise.”

Bright Eyes DENY breakup rumors, hope for 8th album

Many publications, including Under The Gun Review, have spent the majority of 2011 claiming it to be the year Bright Eyes says goodbye. Well, it turns out, we were wrong. NME caught up with the group, fronted by the ever-mysterious Conor Oberst, to discuss future plans and realize they show no signs of slowing down. […]
