In an interview with Empire Magazine this week, UTG favorite Nicolas Cage was asked if there were any characters he’d like to revisit. This is the actor behind Raising Arizona, Leaving Las Vegas, The Rock, Adaptation, and even has his own on-going franchise with The National Treasure Movies. Without beating the bush, he picked The Wicker Man as the movie he wants to do a sequel to the most.
“I would like to hook up with one of the great Japanese filmmakers, like the master that made Ringu, and I would like to take The Wicker Man to Japan, except this time he’s a ghost.”
That’s right. Nicolas Cage’s current dream project is to make The Wicker Man 2. But this time he’s playing a ghost. Keep your eyes to UTG for further updates on all things music, movies, and Nicolas Cage.
