REVIEW: Punch Brothers – Who’s Feeling Young Now?

Artist: Punch Brothers Album: Who’s Feeling Young Now? Genre: Progressive/bluegrass/classical/acoustic Label: Nonesuch Records I remember writing a line in a review before in which I referred to my musical world of “rock meets metal meets Mozart.” Well, the latter third of that triumvirate is so, so incredibly pleased with this album and band. “Unless you have some weird bias against francophones, there’s little to nothing to complain about with this album outside of just how multi-dimensional it feels. There’s something seriously wrong with the metal world if this album doesn’t get a lot of attention both from critics and fans when it drops in August as it has such universal metal appeal. Something about these Frenchmen, they just know how to do metal right.”
