Night Terrors of 1927 are one of the best indie pop rock groups you and your silly friends have yet to discover. Their sound sounds like someone took all the best elements of music today and fused them with the height of 1980s pop music. It’s an intoxicating combination that is so powerful many people are unable to resist the urge to dance when the group’s music comes on the radio. Their latest, “When You Were Mine,” may be the best the Night Terrors of 1927 have ever sounded, and they owe a bit of thanks to everyone’s favorite Canadian …

Under The Gun sent photographer, Kellie Gannon, to photograph Tegan and Sara at the Masonic Auditorium in Cleveland on February 7, 2014.
I have to admit, I’ve had a girl crush on Tegan and Sara ever since I first heard “Walking With A Ghost” a decade ago. This killer track, from 2004’s So Jealous, ended up on countless mix CDs I made that coincided with my new driver’s license and newfound freedom to cruise around and blast whatever tunes I wanted. That was ten years ago — fast forward to now and I was more than psyched …
Hey, shoe lovers. Gather round.
Tegan and Sara have each just designed a pair of shoes that will be going on sale later this year. They’re vegan-friendly, cat-doodle-filled, and everything a fan could want.
The shoes were made in collaboration with Keep Company! from top to bottom to reflect their personal style. They will be produced in limited quantities and will hit store shelves in late May of this year, but pre-orders are ongoing from now through February 11.
Last year Boston threw its first big music festival in quite some time — and they saw it pay off. Boston Calling Music Festival put on a two-day festival in May and September, both of which sold out, allowing them to bump their third installment (May 23 – 25, 2014) to three days.
Tonight they hid 10 vinyl records throughout the city with the lineup written on them, and the people who found them won free tickets to the festival. Thankfully someone already nabbed one and uploaded a photo, and it’s lookin’ pretty good.
The lineup listed is as follows …
Sometimes you just need a peppy, positive song to get you through the afternoon. If you haven’t found yours yet today, let me direct your attention to “Everything Is AWESOME!!!” The collaboration between indie pop duo Tegan and Sara and goofball rappers The Lonely Island, which you can listen to right here, is so full of energy and thumping electronic beats that it might have you dancing in the halls of your office.
The song may not have the depth and nuance that Tegan and Sara fans have come to love in their music, but those aren’t exactly …

With the help of producer/DJ Matthew Dear, the Canadian sister duo Tegan and Sara have recorded a cover of Tears For Fears’ “Pale Shelter.”
Tegan and Sara are no strangers to ’80s influenced hits, as shown on 2012’s Heartthrob, so tackling the 1983 single was a logical next step for the two.
“We have been heavily influenced by Tears For Fears’ impressive body of work and it was an honor to create a new version of one of our favorite songs. Matthew Dear immediately came to mind as an exciting collaborator and we were delighted when he said yes! …
