Night Terrors of 1927 are one of the best indie pop rock groups you and your silly friends have yet to discover. Their sound sounds like someone took all the best elements of music today and fused them with the height of 1980s pop music. It’s an intoxicating combination that is so powerful many people are unable to resist the urge to dance when the group’s music comes on the radio. Their latest, “When You Were Mine,” may be the best the Night Terrors of 1927 have ever sounded, and they owe a bit of thanks to everyone’s favorite Canadian duo.

This week, Night Terrors of 1927 shared the official music video for their new single “When You Were Mine.” The song features an appearance from Tegan And Sara, which makes an already exciting story even more insane, and the results cannot be denied. The track bursts through your speakers with all the heart and sincerity anyone could ask for, and it never lets up until its runtime comes to an end.
