A Rocket To The Moon have revealed they will be releasing a 5 song EP exclusively on iTunes October 5 entitled, The Rainy Day Sessions. You can view album’s track list below. According to the press release-

Each song on the EP features female bluegrass group Larkin Poe (formerly the Lovell Sisters). It was recorded at Favorite Gentlemen Recordings, Tree Sound Studios and Eldest Only Productions and produced by Dan Hannon (Manchester Orchestra). The band say the title of the EP comes from the pouring rain that hit the roof of the studio during recording. The sound was taped and even added into the songs.

This will be A Rocket To The Moon’s first new material since 2009’s On Your Side (if you don’t count the Christmas song).
