Thrice announces album title, release date

Thrice announced that their 7th studio album, Major/Minor, will be released on September 20 via Vagrant Records. “It’s definitely the most natural progression from record to record that we’ve had in a while,” commented vocalist Dustin Kensrue in a press statement. “We did ‘The Alchemy Index,’ which was totally different [from ‘Vheissu’]. Then ‘Beggars’ was kind of the reaction against that. This kind of makes sense coming out of ‘Beggars,’ but it’s definitely a different record.” Additionally, the band plans on announcing fall tour dates in support of this upcoming release.
