Justin Bieber taking time off to “think, pray, and grow up”

You know you’ve made it when you no longer have to work in order to survive. Justin Bieber is only seventeen-years-old, but has already reached this point of financial stability (probably many times over) and is proving so by taking a month off from work.

“I’ve been working so hard, I’m taking a month off,” Bieber told The Hollywood Reporter in an interview released yesterday. “It’s been great to just think and enjoy hanging out with my friends. I’m still growing up, and when you’re working every day, you don’t really get a chance to figure out who you are. So with the time off, I’m able to think, pray and just kind of grow up.”

It’s understandable someone as young as Justin would want to take a break, but it’s truly disgusting that he’s at a point already in life where he wants to do so. Sonny Moore, now known as Skrillex, was on Warped Tour at fifteen and just announced a three month tour at twenty-three-years-old. In all that time, he hasn’t stopped working. Sure he took a few months away from the national spotlight, but it has taken him nearly a decade to get to where he is and a couple dozen songwriters and producers did the same for Bieber in a time from of under three years.

Have fun Justin, the rest of us will be working and sweating in the Summer sun to afford the A/C we hope doesn’t go out and cause our families to be uncomfortable. Send us a postcard from whatever island you visit/purchase.
