James Shotwell Kings Of Leon frontman Caleb Followill stumbled off stage last night in Dallas, apparently in search of a beer, and never returned to the stage. Followill claimed he wasn’t drunk, just “hot,” but the video clip below will probably lead you to believe otherwise:
As you can see above, Followill left the stage to “grab a beer and puke,” but never returned. Bassist Jared Followill came out to apologize to the jeering crowd, stating his brother was “a little unfit” to carry on with the gig:
“I know you guys hate us. I’m so sorry, fucking burn our records. We would play right now if we could. We’re so sorry.”
This event follows weeks of rumors that Caleb’s drinking has been taking a toll on the band. We wish him and the rest of KoL the best of luck in the future.

Sure calebs got a drinking problem but you cannot ignore a lousy venue like gexa. It’s hotter than a pizza oven there and barely any ventilation. I will boycott every show there until they air condition it or stop having shows there before mid September. Cheap promoters!!!! Can’t be bothered to cut into their profits for a decent venue. Hope more shit like this happens until bands stop playing at this venue. Last year goo goo dolls did a great job but one could tell they were miserably hot the entire time
