In what can only be considered an incredible honor, and an unforgettable night for fans, Prince invited Kanye West to perform with him during the Way Out West Festival in Sweden. It is well known that West is a huge fan of the legendary artist, but Prince rarely expresses his approval for modern artists, let alone invites them to share the stage and sing with him!

West was brought out to perform part of Prince’s 1987 hit single, “If I Was Your Girlfriend” and was allowed to “do his own thing” on stage. Below is a video of two of the performance. Prince brought West out around 2:29 into the song.

All I can say is WOW! Congratulations to Kanye West for winning the rare approval of Prince!
