Last Friday, Kid Cudi announced to the world his project with his longtime friend, producer Dot Da Genius, would no longer be called ‘2 Be Continuum.’ The new name? WZRD.
Yesterday (Monday, November 21), Cudi took to Twitter to teaser fans with the promise of a new song later in the night. Around 10pm PST (1AM EST), the song went live and you can now stream, download, and enjoy it right here on UTG. Just click past the jump and it is yours.
While we are excited to finally have new material, especially considering Dot Da Genius was the one who gave us “Day N Night,” but something about “Brake” just does not sit well with us. We appreciate your attempt to evolve Cudi, but why fix something that was not broke in the first place?
Check out the awesome cover artwork, designed by Ty Gonzalez, right in the feature image box!

Hi, my name is Ty Gonzalez, and it came to my attention that this website had posted an article for the new WZRD single ‘Brake’ with an album cover for the upcoming untitled WZRD album. The thing is, I made that cover, along with another one, and posted it on the kanyetothe.com forums. My username on there is Iron Fist. Here is the thread in which I posted the two covers:http://www.kanyetothe.com/forum/index.php?topic=147310.msg5680046#msg5680046
If credit could be given to myself for the artwork, it would be much appreciated. You can contact me at my email, tygnzlz@gmail.com.
Thank you,
Ty
