Hollywood is about to go big budget with found footage in Chronicle and UTG has your first look at the trailer.

The plot, according to the official Youtube page, is as follows:

Three high school students make an incredible discovery, leading to their developing uncanny powers beyond their understanding. As they learn to control their abilities and use them to their advantage, their lives start to spin out of control, and their darker sides begin to take over.

Does it sound ridiculous? Very much so. Will we still be lining up to attend? Definitely. From the looks of it, Chronicle is either going to catch a lot of haters by surprise or be the best waste of studio budget this season. Click past the jump and judge for yourself!
