If you see one image today, it should be the one that Fox Searchlight just unveiled of Anthony Hopkins as Alfred Hitchcock.
Released as part of early promotional efforts for the forthcoming film Hitchcock, which is based on Steven Rebello’s book “Alfred Hitchcock and the Making of Psycho” and recently started filming, the first image of Hopkins in full wardrobe is stunning. You can view the image after the jump.
For those out of the loop, Hitchcock is a love story about one of the most influential filmmakers of the last century, Alfred Hitchcock, and his wife and partner Alma Reville. It takes place during the making of Hitchcock’s seminal movie Psycho. Look for more details on the film’s release in the coming months.
