Over half a decade after the original brought in $97 million at the box office, Open Road has announced they will release Silent Hill: Revelation 3D on October 26.
Directed by Michael J. Bassett (Solomon Kane, Deathwatch), Revelation 3D will pick up sometime after the events of the first film. Original cast members Sean Bean, Deborah Kara Unger, and Radha Mitchell are back, with delaide Clemens (X-Men: First Class) and Kit Harington (Game of Thrones) joining the series. In SILENT HILL: REVELATION 3D, Heather Mason (Clemens) and her father (Bean) have been on the run, always one step ahead of dangerous forces that she doesn’t fully understand. On the eve of her 18th birthday, plagued by horrific nightmares and the disappearance of her father, Heather discovers she’s not who she thinks she is. The revelation leads her deeper into a demonic world that threatens to trap her forever.
