TesseracT Lose Vocalist Elliot Coleman

I know I’m not the first to say this, but this may be the best thing to happen to the band right now. I saw TesseracT in San Francisco last year supporting Between the Buried and Me and Animals As Leaders, and due solely to the vocals, it was a chore to say the least. I heard nothing but complaints from the people in the crowd around me. Numerous negative adjectives come to mind when wanting to describe that man’s vocals, but I’ll spare you. The main point is that his style did not fit TesseracT’s sound… at all. Anyway…

The band issued the following statement on their website regarding Coleman’s departure:

“Sadly, our good buddy Elliot has decided to leave team TesseracT.

We’d like to thank Elliot for everything he has done for us. We have loved having him be a part of this beast. He introduced us to a completely different side of our sound, as well the delights of Pho! Things we will always be grateful for.

So, as well as continuing to write and record album 2, we are also on the hunt for that special (shpecial) person to be the new full-time TesseracT vocalist.”
