Yellowcard Release Letter To Fans Concerning “Southern Air”

In case you missed our half dozen notifications before this moment, Yellowcard released their highly praised new album Southern Air today after months of anticipation. The critics love it, including UTG, and we are willing to bet almost anything that you will fall in love with it as well.

As a way of thanking fans for their support over the past few months and looking towards the future, Yellowcard took to the social world earlier today with an open letter to their followers. The message reads:

It has been four months since we finished recording ‘Southern Air’. The process leading up to the release of this new album has been one of then most exciting we’ve ever had. All of the messages of excitement and anticipation we have received from you have been inspiring to say the least. ‘Southern Air’ is a record that we are so proud of. We really felt like we’d left nothing behind when we finished making it. We can only hope that you find the same love for these songs that we have, now that the record is finally in your hands.

We are also releasing the music video for ‘Here I Am Alive’ today. The video features Hopeless Records label mate, and our good friend Tay Jardine of We Are the In Crowd. In most parts of the world you can watch the video exclusively on MTV and MTV.com, and in Canada on AUX TV.

This is a big day in the story of Yellowcard. One that marks the beginning of the next chapter in our career. We look forward to hearing your thoughts on ‘Southern Air’, as well as traveling around the world for the next year and a half playing these new tunes for you all.

Thank you, as always, for being a fan. Your support sustains us and is undeniably the most important part of what we do. We appreciate you all so very much.

BUY SOUTHERN AIR.
