HOLY SH*T: The Final Trailer For Paul Thomas Anderson’s “The Master”

I feel like I have been longing to see Paul Thomas Anderson’s latest potential epic, The Master for years. The marketing has been quiet, but each frame allowed to escape until this point has been nothing short of fascinating, and tonight it finally comes to a head. Just under a month from its official wide release, The Master now has a final theatrical trailer.

The Master stars Joaquin Phoenix as an ex-Navy man who falls under the spell of a man known as the “master” (Phillip Seymour Hoffman). I could offer a few additional details, but I would be doing you a severe disservice if I didn’t insist you watch the visuals below. PTA is an artist, and we have little doubt he’ll prove that once more when The Master arrives on September 21.
