Former Woe, Is Me frontman Tyler Carter spent the better part of the last year chasing a pop career that the following post is going to make seem irrelevant, but it needs to be said that “Side By Side” was one hell of a track. Anyways, Carter has abandoned that dream (at least temporarily) and chosen to return to the world of heavy scenecore that first gave him the opportunity to shine. His new project, Issues, has released a stream of their debut single, “King Of Amarillo.” You can stream the single after the jump.
I want everyone to listen to this track before I run my mouth, but I think it’s clear to say between this , the new Woe, Is Me song, and everything that new Of Mice & Men song offered awhile back that Rise Records will soon be home to Nu-Metal version 2.0.
