Whitney Cummings Takes On The Talk Show World With “Love You, Mean It”

Comedian Whitney Cummings has returned to her stand-up roots with her new weekly talk show, “Love You, Mean It”. The show serves as a fitting springboard from which to share her views on practically everything in the uniquely funny way that made her a favorite roundtable guest on “Chelsea Lately” and a go-to guest for high-profile comedy roasts. With a wide variety of special guests, field pieces, funny correspondents and her very own sidekick, stand-up Julian McCullough, Cummings takes on pop culture, entertainment news and current events as only she can. “Love You, Mean It With Whitney Cummings” airs at 10:30pm ET/PT on Wednesdays following “The Soup” only on E!

Each week, Whitney will be doing what she does best — speaking her mind candidly and adding her own comedic take on what’s going on in the world around her. Honest and utterly unique, she will tell it like it is… and maybe like it ought to be. If it is relevant, Cummings has an opinion about it. Each show will open with Whitney’s riotous take on news, the internet, and celebrities through her own views on sex and relationships. Not one to ever sit back quietly, McCullough will bring his own hilarious two cents to any conversation, whether it’s asked for or not.

Joining Cummings is a team of comedic correspondents whose pieces will shed further light – and possible disgrace – on the people, events or subjects that have captured Whitney’s attention that week. Cummings will also welcome a wide variety of guests including celebrities and newsmakers.

Cummings first gained attention with her sharply clever stand-up which landed hero a regular spot as a round table guest on E!’s hit late night show “Chelsea Lately.” She is the creator, star and executive producer of “Whitney,” her autobiographical sitcom on NBC which began its second season on November 14. She also co-created “Two Broke Girls” for CBS with Michael Patrick King. Over the past few years, she has been named one of Variety’s “10 Scribes to Watch,” has received the “Comedian of the Year Award” at the Young Hollywood Awards, was honored as one of Entertainment Weekly’s “Comedy Stars of Tomorrow” and was named one of Variety’s “Top 10 Comics to Watch.” With career accomplishments that include actress, writer, comedienne and producer, she is now adding host to that list with her new weekly talk show.

Julian McCullough is a regular on the comedy circuit, and has been featured at the Just For Laughs Festival, won the “New York’s Funniest” comedy competition, filmed a comedy special for “Comedy Central Presents” and has appeared on NBC’s “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.” Off TV, he has also been featured on the hugely popular Marc Maron podcast “WTF?” and performed two original stories he wrote about himself on public radio’s highest rated program, “This American Life.”

“Love You, Mean It with Whitney Cummings” is produced by Borderline Amazing Productions and is executive produced by Chelsea Handler, Whitney Cummings, Tom Brunelle and Rob Anderson. Brad Wollack serves as co-executive producer. Catch the show each Wednesday night at 1030 ET/PT only on E!
