Today is a shitty day. I know it’s Friday, but one look at the day’s headlines and it becomes incredibly clear that this may very well be the worst Friday of 2012. Nothing can overshadow the tragedy in Connecticut, but on the music side of things we learned this morning that Lamb Of God frontman Randy Blythe will stand trial for manslaughter charges in early 2013.

PraguePost reported this morning that Blythe has a trial date set for February 4, 2013. The charges against Blythe stem from claims he played a role in a fan’s death during a performance in Prague two years ago. Click here to catch up on all the drama that has lead to this point.
