WATCH: Ikea Releases New Ad Embracing DJs and Vinyl Collectors

Anyone with a large collection of music or music equipment has likely found themselves facing the seemingly never ending problem of where to store all of their beloved “stuff.” For years, DJs and audiophiles around the world have swapped tips and tricks for using Ikea’s reasonably affordable home furnishings to tackle this very problem, and now the company has officially embraced music lovers and creators with open arms thanks to a new viral campaign.

Harry’s Records is a short film (or long form commercial, your choice) created by Ikea to showcase the many ways their products can help simplify and organize the life of even the biggest music hoarders. The footage follows a DJ whose home has become cluttered with records, which I’m sure is a problem many of you know very well. Click below to view the short.

Ikea is not giving us anything for this article, but I will say that quite a few of our staff use their products in ways similar to those shown in this footage. If you have an organization issue with the music and gear in your life, wandering their crowded halls may be a good way to find a solution.
