Morrissey Makes The Staples Center Vegetarian For One Night

Pitchfork has announced news that Morrissey will make every food vendor in Los Angeles’ venue The Staples Center vegetarian for one night only (March 1). This is the first time in history that this will be taking place. Read a statement from the article below.

Morrissey has currently cancelled a large portion of his upcoming tour due to a bleeding ulcer and Barrett’s esophagus. UTG hopes he makes a full recovery soon.

“Although Morrissey’s been recovering from his recent fight with a bleeding ulcer and Barrett’s esophagus, one his first dates back will offer the animal rights activist and vegetarian a pretty major consolation prize. The Staples Center in Los Angeles has agreed, for the first time ever, to make every vendor in and around the venue 100% vegetarian for his March 1 concert.

The Staples Center and promoter Goldenvoice will donate a portion of ticket proceeds to PETA.”
