Bobby Brown Sentenced To 55 Days In Jail Due To DUI

Last October, Bobby Brown was caught driving drunk near Los Angeles. Yesterday, Brown was sentenced to 55 days in jail after his lawyer entered a plea of no contest to charges of driving under the influence and driving with a suspended license. Brown never actually appeared in Los Angeles courtroom.

According to Rolling Stone, after spotting his car weaving between lanes last fall, police reportedly arrested the New Edition singer after he failed his sobriety test. This offense marked his second DUI offense last year, the first of which landed the singer in rehab.

Brown will be forced to report to jail on March 20 and also faces four years of probation. He must also report to alcohol counseling programs and will be forced to install an ignition locking device on his car.
