Earl Sweatshirt to release a collaborative EP with Jesse Futerman?

We’re not one to start rumors around here at Under The Gun, but when we hear Earl Sweatshirt news, we kind of get excited.

The site, Pot Holes In My Blog has reason to believe a collaborative EP between Earl Sweatshirt and Toronto based producer Jesse Futerman is in the works. The project’s expected to be titled, Wanderer and “will feature lot’s of cool Artists that you’d expect to be on it,” according to Earl’s personal Facebook status.

Jesse Futerman is a 21-year-old musician and producer who’s jazz based music sampling would seem to mesh well with Earl’s rapping style. Futerman recently signed to R&S Record’s sister label, Apollo Records and is schedule to release an EP later this year.

Whether this news is speculative or not, it’s clear that Earl Sweatshirt has been hard at work. As we wait in anticipation for the release of his new album, Doris, Earl Sweatshirt is poised to make some waves in 2013.

Late last year, Earl Sweatshirt released a new track called, “Chum.”  You can check out the video below.
